Since 2022, we’ve been offering sessions fortnightly (Mondays) for our community elders; coffee mornings, lunches, walks, and excursions full of conversation and laughter.

We love listening to them and their resilience… 

We’ve taken the group to windcityfarm, and to @BristolUni Botanic Garden today as part of improving their wellbeing physically & emotionally through enjoying the nature & variety of plants. 

The wonderful Anne (volunteer of Botanic Gardens) explained to the women about the histories of the plants & their health benefits + Zahra Kosar interpreted.

Research shows that social isolation and loneliness, are major contributing risk factors to poor physical and mental health within the older adults. So let’s reduce it together!
